About FocusFlow
FocusFlow is an iPhone app for students that locks distracting apps until a task is finished and proved with a photo. An AI model checks the photo against the task, and verified work earns minutes on the locked apps. When the minutes run out, the apps lock again. FocusFlow is free and was built by a student at Ohio State.
The founder
Spencer Lay is a student at Ohio State and the founder of FocusFlow. He built it after losing about five hours a day to his phone and finding that every blocker he tried could be switched off by the person it was meant to stop.
