How it works

Homework first. TikTok after.

Seven steps, and you only do four of them. The rest happens on its own.

The phone screen changes with each step described alongside.

Pick what gets locked.

Choose apps, or whole categories, with Apple's own picker. FocusFlow gets a token for each one and never learns its name.

Add what's due.

Today's tasks, each worth the minutes you decide. Photo proof is on unless you turn it off.

Blocked. Until you're done.

Open a locked app and this is all you get. There is no ignore button.

Snap it.

Finish the task, then take one photo of it. The problem set, the notes, the gym.

Checked.

An AI model compares the photo with the task. A few seconds later you have a verdict.

Unlocked. For a bit.

A verified task banks 15 minutes by default. They count down only while you are in the apps you locked.

Then it locks again.

At zero the lock comes back, even with FocusFlow closed. The way in is the same as before.

Proof

What counts as proof.

Finished work

A completed problem set, a page of notes, an essay on screen with the word count showing.

Being there

The gym floor, a library desk, the lab bench. Somewhere the task plainly happens.

A thing done

A made bed, a packed bag, a sink with nothing in it. If a photo can show it, it counts.

A photo that clearly shows nothing relevant is declined. If the model cannot tell, you can retake it or confirm the task yourself. Keep other people's faces and personal documents out of frame.
